why is the end of summer always the busiest time? i guess people realize that summer is dying and they better get their vacations and whatnot in before september. me? well i'm not going back to school in the fall, so there's really nothing to get ready for. i'm hoping that i'll get a job at the new lowes over in marietta so that my car will live a little longer and so my parents will get the hell off my back. also, perhaps i can stop buying useless shit long enough to save up for that danged apartment.
so i saw they might be giants in concert the other night. that was perhaps the funniest show i've ever seen, if not the most rockinest. "man it's so loud in here" was amazing. they turned off all the lights and a giant disco sent beams of light playing all over the audience. as was the part where they play along to whatever's on the radio. all i have to say is pink floyd's "money". and i got to meet john(the guitarist with glasses for those that care) afterwards, who is extremely cool with the fans.
this fatass security guard was trying to get them to tear down the merch table and move everything outside and john was like "i'm going to sign autographs for everyone here until there are no more to sign. and if they want to push us out, i guess they don't get their half of the merch sales." and the guard just walked away, it was awesome.
