well not too much to tell about the real world today, since i spent so much of it in D&D land last night. and this morning. and tonight too, probly.
blessing came over and got me last night and we went driving around town, doing random errands. we stopped in at sound exchange so i could by the midtown cd. it's good, by the way, i may be writing a review for the zine if i can get around to it. but i started talking to dave evans about stuff, and he said that there was gonna be a concert. i thought "yeah right, a show here" but sure as punk kids are funny looking, there was. we left as the band was sound testing, they were that bad. we got some games for the ps2 at blockbuster, got his ps2, then headed to my house were an all night gameathon began. we began with a little virtua fighter 4. the martial arts in that game are the best i've seen from a game. i would say that blessing and i are pretty evenly matched, except when i am playing as the drunk old man, then i kill him every time.
we popped in baldur's gate: dark alliances next. i'd say it was about midnight. well i chose the dwarven fighter and he chose the human archer. FAST FORWARD 7 HOURS! we beat the drow princess and got her jewled scimitar and shield, freed the imprisoned dwarven spy, rid the mines of the dark elf presence, and found a map to the next level of the game. blessing went home, i went to sleep. we're beating it tonight, hopefully. then tuesday i get to go see they might be giants. oh i'm excited. but i gotta go, my teeth need brushing before blessing gets here, cuz he doesn't like kissing me when i'm all funky. ;-)
