it is a good time to be a geek, my friends. everything that people used to make fun of us for liking, it's all becoming mainstream.
the lord of the rings movies are enjoying mainstream enjoyment and anticipation, as are the new set of star wars movies. spiderman, a movie made from a comic, for crisesake, just broke the opening weekend sales record. eat that jock boys. not to mention the fact that the masters of nerd rock, weezer, has 2 new albums on the way, and the last one obviously did very well on the charts. viva la geekdom.
