ah, another beautifully timed weekend come to save me from myself. if the sun comes out sometime soon, and dries the sodden earth, the night will be most pleasant. although with the plans i have tentatively laid out the night will be pleasant if they go through anyway. so here i sit in my boxers with the scooners on them waiting for something to happen, hopefull not birds attacking my house, but you get the point.
this week hasn't been so bad. wednesday night might have something to do with that. i scored 6 points in night frisbee, all from way downtown. 3 of those were on the kickoff, or pull as kirk informed me. yeah, it was a good night. a good game too. this set the tone for the rest of the week. everything just going where i, well not wanting it to per se, but where i didn't mind it going. i didn't miss anymore of my classes, which is good cuz i was falling behind in history. i have a test monday, but i'm not gonna sweat it if i can study with cate sunday...maybe i should ask her about that. i have to work till 10 that night...fuck. anywho.
i worked last night for about 3 hours then went home. kirk called me around 10 to say he was ready to be acquired at annie's house, so i did, and away we went. the grind was almost deserted except for andy, bobby, lemley, zarko and morehead. so we all go tired of watching little kids try to get into bars so we went to the mountaineer.
we got our fav waitress so that made things go a lot smoother. i got to see mat lyons there, and brandon miller showed up eventually, stoned off his ass of course. amie and joe showed up as we were leaving, sadness, but ah well.
ah, i almost forgot, i finally beat baldur's gate 2. after not playing it for a couple of months i picked it back up and proceeded to finish the fuck out of it. i'm on the expansion pack now, which is really hard, but oh well. it's so good. i think i'm gonna go either play some more of that or try and scrub the last vestiges of last week's handstamp out of my pores. keep on keepin on.
