so tonight was fun, even if it was over kinda early. the whole gang was in town this weekend. so that was rad. it's sad that we meet up at the grind now, but whatever, until some place better opens up, we'll be stuck with the godawful coffee shop.
i love it when i get to a place, and there will be like, 20 bazillion people that i really like to hang out with all in the same place. it's happy overload. there was a mass caravan to the lion's den(read:pornshop) at one point, but people got lost, so we left. we came back, holly wore my hat and looked much more uber cute in it than i ever do, and then went to the 'eer. mmm, good food. i ate with blessing, kirk, brandon and katie. we talked roleplaying and star wars all night. mmmm, good times
on the way home i was doing 35 down this hill in greenmont hills and a cop saw me. as i was going down the road after passing him, i saw him hit reverse, turn around and follow me. mind you this is a block from my house. so i get to my street and i keep waiting to be pulled over. when you're expecting it, it's not as terrifying. the lights are kinda pretty and mesmerizing.
so he asks for my info, and tells me i was speeding. i gave him some bullshit about me being tired and trying to get home fast. he was actually a really swell guy. he just asked me to "slow it down" and let me go. nicest cop i've ever met. so i drove the 20 ft to my house and the rest is unimportant. these aren't the droids you're looking for, move along :)
